PROMOTION

April 28, 2008 · No Comments

To paraphrase the words of L. Ron Hubbard the definition of promotion is:

TO MAKE SOMETHING KNOWN AND THOUGHT WELL OF

A simple yet brilliant definition!  ANY action that makes your product, service, or company known and thought well of is PROMOTION.

Every task, every action, and every employee in an organization is linked to promotion. Put them all together and you determine the success or failure of that organization. Prompt customer service - courteous employees - a professional appearance (offices, website, letters) - clean quarters - quality products, etc., etc. are all promotional actions.

Small individual actions when taken together add up to, and effect, your overall success.   Keeping accurate records, responding quickly to requests for information and/or help, resolving all concerns that arise, correcting problems or errors on the spot, finding the real cause of those errors or failures and repairing them immediately, never issuing false claims or products, making payments on time, releasing success stories - these actions, and more, determine your overall success or lack thereof.

PROMOTION FAILS FOR ONE REASON ONLY

NON-EXECUTION
Without promotion there is no company, product or service. Therefore, any promotion is better than no promotion.   But, promotion without adequate delivery eventually leads to failure.
